В число поддерживаемых Google языков включен коми кыв

В конце июня в число языков, поддерживаемых поисковой системой Google включен и коми язык. По данным БНКоми, интернационализация языка коми-зырян произошла благодаря деятельному участию одного из сотрудников Google – выходца из России Влада Патрышева.

Последний профильно занимается интернационализацией программных систем.

- Я программист из России; большую часть жизни провел в Питере, уехал работать в США в 1998-м году. В Гугле с августа 2005-го. Сейчас работаю в команде orkut.com, а до того полтора года провел в группе, занимающейся интернационализацией Гугла. А перед Гуглом я семь лет в Борланде занимался интернационализацией, так что это моя любимая область - помогать программам осваивать языки. Коми кыв я изучал в молодости, в основном забыл, так, помню только ругательства да песни – «мунам Анук ва дорэ», «Эжва дорэ пукыштам», - пояснил г-н Патрышев в беседе с корреспондентом БНКоми.

- Так как я из России, то, естественно, интересовался состоянием интернационализации наших продуктов на языки народов России. Составил список языков и обнаружил, что несколько наиболее распространенных языков вполне могли бы быть добавлены. Разговаривал с различными людьми, от которых это зависит. Ну а потом уже своими руками добавлял коми, чувашский, чеченский, аварский (и другие). Фиксил баги - теперь это всё доступно и уже зависит от вас, - как переведете на коми, так оно и будет выглядеть.

- Это даёт преимущества людям, которые пользуются Гуглом. А мне лично просто приятно было сделать подарок веселому и доброму коми народу, - отметил Влад Патрышев.
